Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can downgrade to the Free plan at any time. You will lose access to Pro features immediately.

What happens to my embeds if I downgrade?

Your existing embeds might stop displaying the content or show a "Locked" message until you upgrade again.

How does the Free plan limit work?

Free accounts can create up to 3 AI changelog generations per calendar month (based on when each changelog is created). The count resets at the start of a new month. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited generations.

Why do I need to sign in with GitHub?

LogGenie reads commit activity and repository metadata from GitHub to build your release notes. We only use the access you grant through GitHub’s OAuth flow—typically the repos and scopes you approve when you connect your account.

What’s the difference between the public page and the embed?

The public link is a full “What’s New” page you can share anywhere. The embed (Pro) lets you drop the same changelog into your own site or docs via an iframe so updates appear inside your product.

Can I edit a changelog after it’s generated?

Yes. AI output is a starting point—you should review it before sharing. Pro includes quick in-place editing on the live public page (rich text + save). Always verify tone and technical accuracy for your audience.

What happens to my changelogs if I cancel Pro?

Your saved changelogs and public links generally stay in your account, but Pro-only capabilities (unlimited generations, embeds, white-label footer, premium tones, automations, etc.) stop according to your plan. Embeds may show a locked or restricted state until you upgrade again.

Do you store my full source code?

No. We use GitHub’s API to pull commit messages, metadata, and related activity needed to summarize releases—not your entire codebase. Generated summaries and settings you save are stored so you can manage history and sharing.

How does billing work?

Pro is billed through Paddle (secure checkout). After a successful payment, your account is upgraded. If you cancel or downgrade, billing follows your subscription rules—you can manage cancellation from pricing or account settings where available.
